Olympus/Sandisk XD Type H = 5 sec (approximately 5 flashes) So I bought a 2GB one and quickly compared it to my 1GB Olympus/Sandisk Brand XD Type H Card that I already was using in my FujiFilm S6000fd. Ok, so I guess I answered my own question (sort of).ĭuring my lunch break I dropped into Fry's Electronics, and to my surprise they had Olympus Brand XD Type M+ Cards in stock. The type M+ card is quite a bit faster than the Type H card.ĭoes this agree with what others have found? Fujifilm Type H = 12 flips of the hour glass on the LCD Olympus Type M+ = 3 flips of the hour glass on the LCDĢ. I formatted each of them in my Fuji E550 andġ. I just did a test with a new Olympus Type M+ card against a Fuji Type I'll let you know about the speed of the cards. I was able to process with s7Raw and STEPOK Raw Importer. This seems to only be a problem for the FujiViewer. Just figured I wouldn't be able to save the pp onto the DVD-R. The disk was finalized yes, but I never realized I'd be blocked from working on RAW files. "The settings cannot be saved because the disk or folder is write protected" The program would not let me go into any settings. After reading a post in reference to the FujiViewer software I opened the FV to work on a RAW file. As a side note - I decided to order the card because I was backing up wedding pics from my type H onto a DVR-R.
